Vintage originally comes from the world of wine, where older wines are referred to as vintage. However, the word has been brought to light in various industries, such as furniture, books and the clothing industry in particular. There are many different definitions of vintage and we will take a look at that in this post.

Many believe that the object is only vintage if it was produced between the years 1920-1979, while others believe that the object must simply be older and unused. Vintage is a broad term and is up to each individual to interpret. Many also believe that if it is over 100 years old, i.e. from before 1920, then it is no longer vintage, but rather antique.

At Dinvintageshop, we have chosen to interpret it as objects that were produced years ago and still have plenty of life in them. We don't think you can put a year on when it's vintage and when it's not. If a jersey was produced several years ago and it has no faults, it should still have the chance to be reused, as it exudes quality that the jersey has lasted so long.

When shopping for vintage clothes, many are afraid that the shirt will be dirty, old, smelly, etc., but we have taken care of this. Through our process, we have made sure to sort the jerseys, wash the jerseys and make them as good as new again. You can read more about that here: This is how we prepare clothes for you

Then you don't have to worry about the quality of the clothes, as there will always be pictures of any faults and defects on the clothing. Few times it happens that we miss a single spot or the like. and if this is the case, simply write an email or call us and we will send a return label and then you will be refunded the money immediately!

We hope we gave a good understanding of what vintage actually is and how we have chosen to interpret the term vintage!

Continue to have a good day. See you at the shop 👋🏼
