What do we mean by drop?

Already at the beginning of the journey, we started with drops on Sundays at 15:00. But what do we mean when we write there is a drop? In this article, we will go into what drops are, why we launch drops and how it happens. Read along here to get a better understanding of what drops are.

When we write that we "drop 800+ products on Sunday", it means that we launch 800+ new vintage products on the website on Sunday. So we have spent the week before getting 800 new products ready for you and when they hit the website at 15:00 they are "dropped". We have always run drops, the difference at the start and now is just the number and the quality. The number has gone from 10+ new jerseys to 800+ new jerseys. In addition, the clothes are of much better quality now and this benefits our lovely customers!

But why do we launch drops and not just throw the products up continuously? 👇🏼

If we launched new products every day, you, the customers, would not know when new cool clothes came out and the possibility of getting hold of something would be less, as fewer products would be launched. When we drop several products at one time, you have the opportunity to see a whole lot of products at once and thus do not enter the website for no reason. In addition, we think it's great that so many people enter the page at one precise time, as it creates a community about a common interest we all share. Namely, vintage clothes!

When we drop so many products, it is a long process the jerseys have to go through... First we get them home from our supplier, after which they are sent out to be washed, so that they are no longer wrinkled and we thereby remove the smell from the jerseys. When they return to the warehouse, we take pictures of each individual product so that they are ready to appear on the website. When photos have been taken of the products, they are posted on our website and then hung on our racks so that they remain neat and well maintained. When a shirt from the drop or a weekday is ordered, we find the shirt and pack it in our beautiful packaging 🔥 After the package is packed and picked up by GLS, a happy customer receives the package after 1-2 business days, which is our normal delivery time 🚚 ⚡️
